Don't launch an in-depth FMECA-type risk assessment without having applied the contents of the How to characterize the nature and criticality of an innovation sheet [FIC 0311] , i.e. without having identified the potentially critical items on which to focus your risk assessments. Otherwise, you're wasting your resources and running the risk of missing out on the real risks.
