Working with a consultant: how to establish a win-win relationship?

In the wake of the kick-off meeting, the pilot should get involved as much as necessary by accompanying the consultant into the field (at least the project manager), to introduce him/her and briefly remind stakeholders, direct and indirect contributors, of the scope of the intervention.

Broadly speaking, the intervention is divided into three main phases:

• The diagnostic phase: this is a phase in which the consultant gets to know you and your environment. For the consultant, the aim is to gather the necessary information in the shortest possible time, often through a campaign of individual interviews, group workshops and/or the collection of information, data, tools, etc. In this critical phase, you need to be careful that material (access authorizations, etc.) and organizational (consolidation of agendas, for example)...
