Prototype validation

The natural continuation of this feasibility study is to support the design of a prototype for validation on several industrial sites, followed by industrialization. In order to guarantee durability and maintenance, the method developed was the subject of a technology transfer from EIS: transfer of image processing methods and learning tables. The development of specific software dedicated to the application enabled all functions to be grouped together in a user-friendly interface (figure 7):

• single or serial membrane scanning (Twain scanner interface) ;

• image processing and cleanliness measurement ;

• membrane classification ;

• issue a test report.
