6. Conclusion
With the explosion in the volume of Internet traffic, driven in particular by functionally richer and ever more powerful mobile terminals, the need for quality communications is more imperative than ever. The emergence of real-time applications relying on the use of a reliable transport mode, capable of providing certain guarantees of robustness, availability and performance, also justifies an evolution in transport protocols, so that they can in particular exploit the resources of multiple paths to establish communications whose level of quality will be judged irreproachable by users.
