Indoor" PLC technologies use a home's low-voltage electrical installation to transmit information to various devices sharing the same "private" electrical network. This is located downstream of the electricity meter. Indoor PLC technologies therefore benefit from a wide deployment spectrum, since they can be used on standard or three-phase electrical installations in homes, businesses, public buildings, factories, etc., and are not subject to any regulations specific to the electrical network.
