Each PLC link can be subject to various constraints, such as attenuation due to interference, multipath on power cables, and crosstalk effects between power cables. The effect of these constraints is to reduce and attenuate the signal power, which means that the PLC link can no longer deliver the information correctly. For example, the minimum attenuation of the meter/circuit-breaker assembly is 30 dB for equipment transmitting a signal at a frequency above 20 MHz. A high-frequency
