ABSTRACT
Auditing is an essential step when implementing Deming wheel. In a Web context, security audits have to check that prior phases are correctly implemented in order to improve them thanks to appropriate recommendations. This article aims at presenting main principles and recommended tools for technical security audits related to Web applications.

INTRODUCTION
Web applications are intrinsically vulnerable to attacks from the outside due to their exposure. To raise awareness of these issues, we present a few statistics. Taken from studies by WhiteHat Security and TrustWave, they illustrate the main classes of vulnerabilities encountered in the field of Web security. This article will explain the majority of these vulnerabilities, which will be described in the "Web security risks" section.
