Skin sensitivity is broken down into several mechanical sensitivities:

• touch itself;

• pressure sensitivity ;

• sensitivity to vibrations on the skin.

In fact, skin sensations correspond to mechanical pressure stimulation exerted on the body surface by a solid that comes into contact with or slides over the human body. Depending on the speed of contact or sliding, sensations of contact, pressure or vibration (alternating variations in surface pressure) are generated, even at low intensities.
