The standard has been published under the title Systems and software engineering – Systems and software quality requirements and evaluation (SQuaRE) –– Product quality model).

The first edition was published in 2011. This document is therefore a second edition.

This document provides standard definitions of all the concepts and terms used in the assessment process. Figure 10 shows the architecture of the documents making up the Quality Measurement (Assessment) Division.
