4. Packaging and shipping
Finished parts are packaged before dispatch. Depending on the
customer's requirements, the parts may be arranged in a particular
order, or simply placed in bulk.
Three types of packaging can be distinguished.

4.1.1 Lost packaging
For foundry parts, the most common packaging is a standard wooden
pallet, or simply a few cleats. For lighter or less voluminous parts,
cardboard boxes of various types are also used.
