In the article

, we pointed out that most of the gradients in the mechanical variables were governed by the relationships between three dimensions: the length of the right-of-way L, the width w and the thickness hof the product. This first paragraph gives concrete form to this assertion. We take the view of plane deformation (x, z), with no widening. This view only makes sense when rolling flat products.
