Increasingly stringent anti-pollution regulations have prompted specialists to develop a range of solutions to improve the operation of hot-dip galvanizing plants (these problems do not exist for continuous galvanizing, because of the absence of flux, and degreasing and post-treatment solutions are obviously required).

The key issues to be resolved are, on the one hand, the neutralization of pickling and rinsing solutions (technically resolved to a satisfactory degree in modern workshops) and, on the other hand, fumes.

Fumes, though unpleasant and annoying, are not considered toxic, but we must try to reduce them as much as possible.
