3. Mode of action and biological performance

The G-VIR ® glove provides enhanced protection for healthcare workers in the event of AES, i.e. in the event of mucocutaneous contact as well as percutaneous accidents. The protection provided is based on two actions:

  • a mechanical action which collects a sufficient quantity of disinfectant at the point of rupture and expels it onto the vulnating object;

  • biological action of the disinfectant to reduce the viral load transmitted.
