7. Defects observed during installation. Solutions
As we have seen, the water-assisted injection molding process has both advantages and disadvantages, which can have dramatic consequences for the part and consequently also for the processor. Indeed, committing to produce a part using this process and then having to offer the customer an alternative solution because technical problems have not been solved can be commercially penalizing. Here we find the same phenomena as in gas-assisted injection molding. As the same causes have the same effects, we recommend the same remedies in most cases.
