Microalloyed steels

Steels microalloyed with the elements niobium, titanium and vanadium make it possible to build a kind of metallurgical engineering through a high number of combinations of elements, usually combined with thermomechanical cycles.

The advantages they offer in weldable, high yield strength grades have made them the preferred choice for a wide range of applications (plates, tube sheets, beams).

As far as thin plates are concerned, there is a wide variety of grades, ranging from hot-rolled to high-strength cold-rolled, as well as steels without interstitial elements.

As regards long products, there has been significant growth in mechanical engineering bars and forging parts.
