Type "A" polyimides
Type A polyimides are most often marketed as finished products (films, fibers, etc.) or as blanks (tubes, bars, etc.) for machining. Precursor solutions (polyamic acid) are also available.

Type "B" polyimides
Type B polyimides are marketed either as granules, filled or unfilled, with viscosity ranges adapted to the various application processes (injection, extrusion, etc.), or as semi-finished products (films, film and cable sheaths, tubes, sticks, etc.).
