ABSTRACT

As medical diagnosis increasingly uses the analysis of biochemical markers and constants in patients, it is becoming important to have the ability to follow the concentration of a molecule at a given point of the body in real-time; this is the main function of biosensors implantable in vivo. The implantable glucose biosensors thus improve the quality of life for suffers of diabetes by enabling them to continuously monitor their glycemia. In the domain of neurosciences, the implantable biosensors allow for a better understanding of chemical communication in the brain.

 INTRODUCTION
