This article deals mainly with the measurement of sinusoidal AC voltages at frequencies between 10 Hz and 100 kHz. The first part (paragraphs 1 and 2 ) is devoted to a description of the various operating principles of measuring instruments, and their accuracy, with the aim of guiding the reader in choosing the most suitable instrument for his or her needs.
