4. Repeatability and reproducibility
ISO 5660-1 standard
Paragraph 3 of Annex C of ISO 5660-1 deals with repeatability, noted r, and reproducibility, noted R.
The data are derived from a series of interlaboratory tests organized by ISO/TC 92/sc 1/WG 5 and supplemented by a similar series of tests carried out by ASTM E05 SC 21 TG 60.
Repeatability and reproducibility values at the 95% confidence level were calculated for the complete data set for just five features of the calorimeter cone test.
These r and R values are equal to 2.8 the appropriate standard deviation.
The range of mean values over which the fit was obtained is also indicated.
