ABSTRACT
This article is an inventory of additive manufacturing which aims to provide a general overview of potential industrial applications. Additive manufacturing technologies are quickly addressed, then the issues and associated obstacles are developed in detail, as well as market development forecasts.
Examples of applications by sectors of activity are then detailed, and we then provide some elements to help the industrial integration of these technologies.
In addition, this article refers to an interactive cartography, designed in parallel on the basis of a Web exploration and whose objective is to help you visualize the links between the different themes associated with 3D printing.

INTRODUCTION
In 2012, the European Union identified six innovative technology
areas that will enable European industries to win new markets and
increase their competitiveness. Advanced manufacturing technologies,
and in particular additive manufacturing, are among these Key Enabling
Technologies (KETs).
For a long time, the scope of additive manufacturing was limited
to rapid prototyping and R&D operations. In recent years, under
the impetus of manufacturers, these new manufacturing technologies
have begun to be integrated into all sectors of activity. With annual
growth of over 20%, the additive manufacturing market is well on the
way to maturity.
In this article, we'll take a look at the market for additive
manufacturing, the associated technologies and some application prospects.
