Concrete samples were characterized 28 days after demolding by IR spectroscopy (in ATR mode) to compare surface composition according to the mold used (PVC or POM molds). Table 5 shows the IR bands of concrete (PVC mold): portlandite (at 3,640 cm- ¹ ), which is one of the major hydrates formed during concrete hardening, is thus easily detected.
