3. Process possibilities
The paste extrusion abrasion process is particularly useful for polishing, radiusing and finishing edges in inaccessible internal passages. Surface finishes of 0.05 µm can be achieved, and micro-machining can be carried out successfully on materials as soft as aluminum or as hard as ceramics, carbides and nickel alloys.
