As a general rule, the engines to be tested on the test bench are stripped of a number of peripheral accessories, such as :

• motor-fan unit and radiator ;

• turbo air exchanger ;

• FUEL TANK ;

• drums ;

• etc.

As a result, these power supply or cooling functions need to be ensured by devices specific to the test bench.

The easements necessary for the proper reproduction of operating conditions are :

• The cooling and temperature regulation loops of the engine cooling circuit and the engine oil circuit (with possible reheating or thermal shock reproduction constraints making the system more or less complex).

• The cooling and temperature control loop of the charge air cooling circuit.
