11. Conclusion
Brazing is an assembly method that requires knowledge not only of metallurgy, but also of physics, chemistry and design. Specific precautions must therefore be taken to guarantee a result in line with the final application (mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, aesthetic appearance, cost...).
These few examples of applications show that brazing has a place in all industrial sectors. Used for its metallurgical compatibility with many materials, it remains the assembly method of choice in multi-material joining.
Current brazing research focuses mainly on the formulation of new filler alloys (additive elements, nanoparticle inclusion, etc.).
