BEM (Boundary Element Method)

This method is based on the same discretization principle as the finite element method. BEM is based on the theory of integral equations, but differs in that it reduces the problem to the boundaries of the domain under study. This method is therefore better suited to problems involving propagation in an infinite medium, since the mesh is only on the surface. It is widely used, for example, in acoustics and electromagnetism.

CFD (fluid dynamics simulation); Computational Fluid Dynamics

Simulation that consists in using a calculation code to solve the equations governing the flow of a fluid, otherwise described by its behavior law and the volumes in which it flows. The finite volume technique is the most widely used in CFD for applications of interest to engineers.
