Modeling and calculating screw joints

Taking into account their importance in mechanical construction, threaded fastener components are subjected to numerous standards. This article concerns the standardization of these elements used in the production of joints which are in high demand. It was designed to help engineers by providing them with the main data related to the characteristics of these elements, their test specifications, dimensions and tolerances. Methods for determining the tightening torque, calculating the static strength and bolt fatigue are also presented.
