ABSTRACT
This article deals with the modeling of random stress considered to be the main cause of the decrease in the resistance of the considered mechanical components. The modeling of these processes allows for the calculation of the lifespan of these systems. The probabilistic modeling of the histogram of a random stress, the theoretical modeling of local events, the probabilistic modeling of exceeded level, or the modeling of a random stress process are dealt with initially. Following, an analysis of matrix methods of calculation is offered.

INTRODUCTION
The final objective of the series of 3 files proposed in this document base is the predictive calculation of the service life of mechanical components. In the first file
, a statistical analysis and a frequency analysis have provided a representation of the stresses applied to a mechanical system or component. This second dossier will enable us to move on from these representations to models, with the subsequent aim of calculating service life. Two types of modeling will be discussed in this presentation. The first is based on statistical and probabilistic approaches, while the second incorporates interaction between statistical and frequency analysis.
