1. Functions
Different coupling functions can be used in the same assembly, and these functions determine the choice of coupling:
static function ;
kinematic function ;
dynamic function ;
assembly and disassembly function ;
safety function ;
progressive function.
While the static and kinematic functions are linked, the other functions remain independent of each other.
