Voltage calibrator
Programmable voltage generator primarily intended for calibration purposes.
Galvanometer
a measuring instrument used to detect and measure very small electric currents.
Active guard
A device designed to reduce leakage currents by applying a controlled voltage to the shielding.
Metrological traceability
The property of a measurement result whereby that result can be traced back to a reference through an unbroken and documented chain of calibrations, each of which contributes to the measurement uncertainty.
Calibration
A procedure that, under specified conditions, first establishes a relationship between the values and associated measurement uncertainties provided by standards and the corresponding readings with their associated uncertainties, and then uses this information in a second step to establish a relationship...
