3. Measuring Disturbances Produced by a Device
Depending on their nature and mode of coupling, the generated disturbances will be measured in different ways. They may require equipment that is sometimes complex. Finally, a thorough and comprehensive characterization of all disturbances generated by a device can be time-consuming and tedious if no preliminary measures have been taken to limit them.
To facilitate and organize this process, tests will be conducted according to their usual priority, namely that, among the disturbances caused by a device, it is the continuous disturbances affecting the spectrum—and thus radio communications—that must be limited and characterized as a priority.
