3. Description of measures
We first report on the measurements and their exploitation, before discussing their contribution in relation to Eulerian techniques.
The temperature measurement is shown in figure
2
. Position measurements show a fairly regular overall movement, with a coordinate oscillation that corresponds to the particle's path through the main convection roller. The temperature recorded during movement is much more fluctuating. A better way of looking at the signals is to represent the probe's trajectory, and color each point according to the temperature measurement made. This is shown in figure
