3. Description of measures
We first report on the measurements and their exploitation, before discussing their contribution in relation to Eulerian techniques.
3.1 Temperature and position measurement
The temperature measurement is shown in figure 2 . Position measurements show a fairly regular overall movement, with a coordinate oscillation that corresponds to the particle's path through the main convection roller. The temperature recorded during movement is much more fluctuating. A better way of looking at the signals is to represent the probe's trajectory, and color each point according to the temperature measurement made. This is shown in figure
