INTRODUCTION
Accreditation to the appropriate quality standard (ISO 17025, ISO 17020...) is often recommended, sometimes required. While, for many years, BNM (Bureau National de Métrologie) accreditation was a guarantee of technical quality, accreditation also provides guarantees as to the quality organization of the laboratory in charge of calibration and/or testing.
