Introduction to organic analytical chemistry

Elemental analysis has become the prerogative of specialized laboratories which have acquired the technical expertise and perfect mastery of microanalytical techniques which, thanks to their remarkable precision, have become reference methods. Automated equipment means that organic chemistry laboratories can now set up elementary microanalysis cells (C, H, N).

Not all laboratories have a microanalysis center or cell. Many wet and dry methods of elemental analysis have the advantage of being accessible to all, without requiring specialization or special equipment.
