2. Heat conduction in the structure of a rotating machine
Two elementary problems are presented to illustrate the application of the heat equation and Fourier's law to steady-state conditions. Each of these problems can be represented by a network of thermal resistances. On the basis of analogous simple RC networks, a detailed model capable of describing the thermal behavior of a complete machine can be developed
