The desired structure is that of a direct AC-DC inverter with :

• the input (respectively output) is connected to a perfect source of sinusoidal AC voltage v_a (therefore reversible in voltage and current) ;

• the output (respectively the input) is connected to a perfect source of direct current I_c, unidirectional in current, but reversible in voltage.

On figure 1, which shows the system block diagram, the converter appears as a quadripole.

• v_a is the sinusoidal AC voltage at the quadrupole input, the current i_a is an AC current....
