The residual disturbances that can affect the shielded two-wire cable in the installation shown in figure 1 primarily concern the common-mode voltages carried between these conductors and the local potential reference set by the shielding. In this context, it is advisable to simplify the analysis by grouping the two-wire under a single conductor, as shown in the diagram in figure
