1. The cavities in EMC contribution
The electromagnetic compatibility constraints happening in many
electronic equipment are often enhanced by metallic cavities that
contribute to confine undesirable electromagnetic fields and increase
their amplitude. It’s the case of aircraft fuselages, where hazard
of standing electromagnetic waves may be occurred. So, this requires
to be able know these kinds of threats in terms of amplitude and frequencies
ranges. Such context, engineers in aircraft industry are more and
more confronted to a large population of RF sources coming from various
electronic devices. For instance, cable wiring networks in cabin are
both sources of interference and main targets of disturbances induced
by other wiring. These may be also, compact RF sources like the cell
phones, lap top or any other small electronic devices carried aboard
