6.1.1 Introduction
In this section, we'll confine ourselves to the digital simulators used to study either the extended electromechanical model or the electromagnetic model (i.e. we won't discuss quasi-stationary, slow dynamic or transient models). The two types of simulator selected cover all dynamic phenomena with a minimum of overlap.
