3.1.1 General definition
The extended electromechanical model covers a frequency range from 0 to 10 Hz. In terms of physical phenomena, it ranges from alternator rotor transients to quasi-stationary phenomena.
In parallel to the width of its frequency domain, the extended electromechanical model covers the most extreme system states, to enable the investigation of deep incidents.
