2. Permissible currents
The admissible current is that for which thermal equilibrium is achieved between the heat released by the Joule effect in the bar and the ambient air, for an accepted bar temperature.
The basic values are established for a single bar, to which the correction factors k 1 to k 12 should be applied (see § 3
