Overview

ABSTRACT

Certain works require temporary electrical installations. This is notably the case on construction sites, fairgrounds and exhibition centers. These temporary installations must comply with specific rules and also have specific technical characteristics. This article reviews this type of installations from architectural issues to safety aspects. Regulation issues and applicable norms are thus dealt with, together with distribution architectures. Setting up and periodic verification stages are also explained. This article finally details the complementary rules concerning each type of temporary installation.
