4. Interconnection capacity management
Law 2000-108 of February 10, 2000 on the modernization and development of the public electricity service transposed European Directive 96/92/EC, opening up the French market to other European players. Its entry into force led the French transmission system operator, in collaboration with its European counterparts, to offer all interested European players access mechanisms to interconnection capacity, for either imports or exports from the French network.
