5. Ensuring continuous improvement
The final phase of the Deming wheel (Tool
2
) involves assessing the progress made since the action plan was implemented. This involves measuring the effectiveness of the plan by comparing the results obtained with the initial objectives listed in the first energy review. It is up to the "energy manager" to prepare future progress reviews, taking into account any dysfunctions to be corrected. All those involved in the process whose results are not conclusive must take part in the continuous improvement reviews.
