2. Insulation work
Knowing the percentage of heat loss by zone (see figure above) makes it easier to choose the work to be carried out. In terms of priority, we recommend starting with roof and attic insulation, followed by wall, window and door insulation, then floor and ceiling insulation, not forgetting the treatment of thermal bridges.
The laws of physics show that heat rises from the floor to the roof, and this is where most of it escapes if the waterproofing is faulty. To increase efficiency, all defects detected during thermal diagnostics must be addressed.
