2. Opportunity study
The second step is to carry out a pre-feasibility study.
First of all, we carry out a pre-dimensioning of the photovoltaic system.
This means assessing the solar potential. This step involves estimating the power of the photovoltaic system in relation to the available surface area of the building or plot of land under consideration, and then the annual production of this system according to the power envisaged and the type of installation.
The output of a photovoltaic system is generally expressed in kWp, or MWp for larger systems. It depends directly on the power and number of modules installed.
In 2021, the most common modules will have an output of around 320 Wp and a surface area of around 1.65 m....
