Gas engines can be divided into two main types: continuous-flow engines (gas turbines and turbojets) and reciprocating engines (spark-ignition and diesel engines). Almost all of these engines are powered by the internal combustion of a fuel mixed with air. However, in some applications, the reactants are not at the same temperature. In this case, Figure
