As mentioned above, it has been possible to significantly reduce the plant's construction costs (table 3 ) through simplifications that reduce operating, inspection and maintenance costs, as well as staffing requirements. The result is a lower cost of electricity production than other nuclear power plants in operation, for the same fuel consumption.

The smaller internal volumes of the buildings, the reduction in the number of components and the use of high-performance construction processes mean that construction times can be reduced to 48 months, from the first concrete pour to provisional acceptance.
