1. Crisis exercises
The aim of crisis exercises is to test all or part of the arrangements for a nuclear crisis, in order to :
train people who may be involved in such a situation in any capacity whatsoever;
test the various aspects of crisis organization and operations (warning, crisis center operations, technical assessment of the situation, decision-making, communication, etc.);
contribute to the continuous improvement of the system.
They also aim to educate elected representatives and the general public, explaining nuclear and health risks and the standards to be taken into account when making decisions.
