This article adapts the basic notions of combustion given in [BE 8 311] to their application in industry. It develops additional elements concerning real combustion with excess or deficient air. However, while the information presented here provides data for the industrial treatment of combustion and the corresponding classical calculations, it only relates to macroscopic aspects and global energy exchanges.
