2. Physiological and ecophysiological processes
To optimize the value of pearl resources, we need to master and understand the stages of their biological cycle and certain physiological processes. In pearl farming, particular attention is paid to the functions of nutrition, reproduction and biomineralization, which represent fundamental processes for pearl farming. From an applied point of view, these results provide the knowledge needed to develop a genetic improvement program.
